With reference to your Confidential Despatch of the 20th December last, I have the honour to enquire whether the mass which was sent therewith and which you desired should for the present be treated as strictly confidential has been published.
As it has been applied for by the Crown Agents that copies have been sent to the Colonial Secretary's Department, it appears to be no longer necessary to treat the mass as confidential, though I have not had such intimation from you.
