With reference to your letter of the 25th ult. No. 29156. Secret, I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to request you will inform the Secretary of State for the Colonies that they concur in the Remarks by the Colonial Defence Committee on the Storage at Hongkong of Ammunition for Foreign Navies, copy of which will be sent to the Commander-in-Chief on the China Station as suggested.
