I have the honour to inform you that at the written request of the French Consul, I have this day given permission to store in the Government Gunpowder Depôt, Stonecutter's Island, the following cases of ammunition arrived by the French Mail Steamer "Annam" viz:- 126 cases of ammunition for the "Descartes" and 1 case cartridges for the "Argus"
