Statement by a Lung Kim Wan.

That I, Kim Wan, knowing that I am ... seriously ill and not likely to remain in this Colony and Canton. It was my intention all along to assist you as much as possible in the identification of all troublesome characters in Hong Kong. I never wished, however, wilfully and intentionally to have done anything which might in any way displease you or put you in an awkward position.

I told these fellows to quit the Colony at once; otherwise, they will get into trouble. You will pardon me for my oversight, which I assure you will never be repeated again.
