Police Office,
Sir,

From the Capt. Supt. of Police to Colonial Secretary.

You
gave up my
leave last Spring principally to investigate the
case of the murder of
the Reforme's Yinn Wan, which happened
on the 10th
of January
last.
"Since that date the utmost endeavours
have been made
to bring some
of the guilty
parties to justice, but I regret to say
that

success has attended
these efforts."

the crime
