Tung Cheung was made a sergeant. He was given command of fifty men. Lam Tsai was made the same. They are now under Li Ka Cheuk at Canton.
I sent someone to Ng Lo Sam. He denied all knowledge of me and has stopped paying me my monthly retainer of $5 a month. When I brought Wong Ma Hoi and his party down I got $140 from Ng Lo Sam.
