10th moon at Ng Lo Sam's house in Wo Fung street. We were

waiting for some one to point out Yeung Kui Wan to us

as none of us knew him. Ng Lo Sam was to get the man to

point out Yeung Kui Wan. At the beginning of the 10th

moon it was intimated that Wong Ma Hoi having been

vanished previously he had better go away. Then Wong

Ma Hoi and his party left. Then Ng Lo Sam went up to

I and Kong I Tsai went with him. Ng Lo Sam went to see

the Treasurer and also Li Ka Cheuk. I did not go with him

on either occasion. While we were there I PA To (surnamed

Yeung) an officer serving under Li Ka Cheuk, Li Ka Cheuk,

and Ng Lo Sam found a number of men. These latter

returned in the night boat with myself on the 17th of

the 11th moon, some by the Hoi Tong (I came by her) and some

by other boats. I had parted from Ng Lo Sam at the

14th of the 11th Tung Mo temple in Canton on the

moon. I don't know when he came down. The names of the men

were--Chan Lam Tsai, an informer and policeman in Canton, Tung A Cheung, an unemployed policeman from Wu Chau, Tsui Fuk, an unemployed Yamen runner, Wong Hok Chau, a clerk at the Lung Mo temple, and 6 others whose
