In reply to paragraph 2 of your Despatch No. 164 of the 9th May last, I have the honour to transmit to you the enclosed table which shows why certain Naturalization Ordinances were omitted from Ordinance No. 18 of 1901.

From the table it will be seen that the two first persons in the list died without having taken the Oath of Allegiance and that the last two left this Colony without having taken the same Oath.
The usual notice has been published in the Gazette stating that His Majesty has not been advised to disallow the Ordinances in question
