I therefore beg to recommend for the approval of His Excellency the Governor that authority be asked to include in the Estimates for 1902, an additional Accounting Clerk at $100 per mensem, and that I be permitted to engage a Clerk now at a salary not exceeding that amount, charging his pay for the present year to the vote for Miscellaneous Services which can bear the charge.
