With reference to your despatch of
the 26th ultimo, enclosing the Viceroy's despatch, I
am to request you to be so good as to endeavour to ob-
tain by direct request from the Viceroy a copy of the
confession of Sz Kin U, containing the evidence against
Yang Chu Yun.

The confession sent as a confidential
paper cannot be utilised by this Government.
