Note:- The R.A.. also get $2.50 a month deferred pay but they have to wait 12 years for it, so I have not taken it into consideration.
Note however that an I.P... would almost certainly become a Sergeant long before 18 years' service. I don't know what likelihood a gunner has of becoming a Havillar in that time.
