With reference to announcement which
appeared in the London Gazette of the 15th. February last
and of which I enclose a copy, I have the honour to en-
quire whether that notice extends to Counsel who have
taken silk in the Colonies, and whether fresh Patents as
King's Counsel are required by those who were Queen's
Counsel in this Colony at the time of Her late Majesty's
death. If that is the case, I shall be glad to know when
such fresh Patents will be sent out.
