(1). That from the 15th. of last December to the 34th. January, on which date he was transferred to the Exports and In- ports Branch of the Harbour Office, he failed to index the General Register.

(a). The Tung Wa Hospital Regulations.

(b). C.S.0.714/1898. (Ir. Orasby's letter re

Widows and Orphans'. Fund. }

(c). The Telegram of the 3rd. December last from H. B. M's. Charge d'Affaires at Bangkok

(in 0.8.0.371/1901. )

That he received minutes from the Honourable Captain Superintendent of Police dated 28/13, 31/13, 7/1, 10/1, 18/1, and 23/13, 7/1, (in C.S.3. 1493/1900 and 2893/1900), for- warding for transmission to India, alterations in the Advice List of Indian Police Remittances, and retained then in his desk neglect- -ed, until the date of his transfer from the Colonial Secretary's Office.

(4). That several papers, e.g. those concerning low level tramways, were wrongly debited to other Departments being as a fact in the Colonial Secretary's Office.

(5). That great difficulty was often experienced in finding documents which according to the Register were filed in this Office.

(a). That much inconvenience was caused to other Departments by the delay of Mr. Remedios in initialing and return- ing Chit-Books, which he sometimes. retained for days. together.
