Minute by the Acting Director of Public Works.
Hon.Col.Secretary,
I have interviewed Er Ordish this morning
and told him the result of our Mesting last night.
He states he is prepared to make the following recom-
mendations as to the payment for reinstating the
Victoria Recreation Club.
1. Amount to be paid, based on
valuation of old buildings
10,000
2. Amount to be paid in con-
sideration of high prices at present
prevailing,
2,000
3. Amount to be paid in con-
sideration of the exposed position
of the site compared with that of
the old building.
3,000
Total
$15,000
He is also prepared to recommend that the
Committee's views be met in the provision of suitable
foundations for the building and the construction of
a swimming bath.
