With reference to paragraph 2 of your despatch
1901
No.30 of the 18th. January, 1900, I have the honour to inform you
that, in view of the extra travelling out of office hours which
the work of the Postmaster General entails, I am prepared to
grant Commander Hastings an additional chair allowance of $16
a month.
