Dear Sir,
I take the liberty of addressing you
on behalf of my brother who is at present engaged in the Manchester Post Office, he is a young man of 24 years, and has had 3 years experience in the P.0. in all its general branohes and is thoroughly efficient in the general routine of the work. He bas written me that he is desirous of obtaining a position abroad as the prospects of advancement at home are comparative- ly amall, owing to the large staff of the Manchester Post Office. I shall esteem it greatly if in any of the Offices under your control you can offer him a position. As to his character and abilities I can only say they are exceedingly good, as testino- nies from home which he can obtain if necessary will show. Por myself I as with the A. I. Co. for the interests of my firm Messrs. 1. and 3. Jarnett and Company of Bradford, England.
Awaiting the favour of your reply
which will be greatly esteemed,
I am abol,
(sd.) H. Stall.
