as neither the adhesive, nor over-embossing stamp, is of

any use by itself.

Specimens are here to annexed of:-

(1) The plain adhesive stamps.

(2) Impressions from an over-embossing die.

(3) The combined adhesive and over-embossing stamp.

(4) The combined stamp applied to parchments.

N.B. The ink used for over-embossing is very quick drying,

and does not "set off".
