With reference to my despatch No. 113 of
the 25th ultimo, I have the honour to transmit to Your Lordship herewith copy of a further despatch
which I have received from Mr. Consul Hall relative
to the supply of handcarts for the use of Her Ma-
jesty's Forces in North China.
Your Lordship will observe that Mr. Hall
has been able to obtain the second thousand carts at
a price somewhat lower than those referred to in my
above-mentioned despatch.
