Royal Highness that suitable buildings will be erected
are quite in-
and proper arrangements made at the quarantine sta-
tion for the housing and provisioning of the persons
who may have to be landed there. I understand that
the present buildings and arrangements
adequate and I am afraid that if quarantine is en-
forced on British ships without any improvement being
made in the existing arrangements, the masters and
agents will complain, and with good reason, of the
insufficiency of the accommodation and supplies at
the quarantine station.
Such complaints have been made before when
quarantine regulations were in force and no improve-
ment seems to have yet been made in the arrangements.
