Gentlemen,
annexed.
I am directed to forward to you a list of
officers who are on leave whose salaries have been
increased under authority conveyed in the Secretary of
State's despatches No.280 of the 8th December 1899, and
(in the case of Mr Ford) No.41 of the 12th February 1900,
and to request you to be good enough to pay their
salaries at the new rates with the arrears due to them
from the dates of their departure from the Colony.
