In further reference to your letter of the 3rd
instant we beg herewith to return the copies of the correspondence between the Colonial Office and the Governor which you then enclosed.
2. We have already replied in reference to the proposed reversal of the position of the buildings and in accordance with your instructions we will now proceed
with the necessary architectural details.
3. With regard to our memoranda of September 18th
1899 asking for some particulars to enable us to prepare
these we beg to point out that no instruction is now given as to the material proposed to be used for the
staircases or whether any other materials than ordinary
plaster will be used for the finishing of the walls.
4. There is also no indication as to the sort
of fittings that would be preferred in the urinals closets
and lavatory basins or whether hot water is required and
if so in what positions.
