Sir,

ETC ETC

On behalf of the Roman Catholic Schools I have the

honour to apply to you for recommendation to His Excellency

the Governor the granting of a site in the village of

Aberdeen for the purpose of erecting a school thereon.

The ground we would like to acquire is that on

which was formerly a Government. School, now demolished.

It is true, that the Mission owns a small piece

of ground in the mentioned village, but it is too far: then

it is considered very unsuitable to erect a building on it

for school.

We therefore apply to you to recommend then the

land which is only small dimension to be granted to the

Mission at a nominal rental.

I have etc

(Sd) P. de Maria.
