XI. His duty will be to supervise the Water Police who do duty in launches, pinnaces, and boats and such other duty as he may be called upon to perform. He will be required to patrol occasionally for 2 or 3 days at a time in the launches.

XII. The Officer is provided free with the following:-

Beds and bedding, summer and winter clothing, helmet, great coat, and money in lieu of boots.

XIII. He is provided with table linen, cutlery, glass, crockery ware and cooking utensils for himself for the sum of $ a entrance to the Police Mess.
