I have the honour to submit for the in-
formation of His Excellency the Governor the quarterly report
on the work of the Tung Wah Hospital during the three months
1st.July to 30th September, 1900.

The number of admissions during the cor-
responding quarter of last year was 544.
I append a table showing in detail the
Admissions and mortality during the quarter,whith the pro-
portion of cases treated by Europeans and Chinese methods re-.
spectively.
Of the 752 Admissions, 281 were under Eu-
ropean treatment,404 under Chinese native treatment, 2 were
transferred to the Lunatic Asylum, 2 to the Government Civil
