In reply to your letter of the 5th.inst.
I am directed by the Governor to inform you that H.E. has no
objection to your laying a third cable to Kowloon from the
spot indicated, on the conditions laid down in my letter No.
1376 of the 27th. August 1883.
I am to add that the Government reserves
its right at discretion to revoke at any time the concessions
now granted without compensation to your Company.
