Your Excellency.
As no express power of cancellation of
the license was given I imagine the Telegraph Co., would
claim compensation. If the land at Hunghom is purchased by
the Dock Co., it seems reasonable to make them pay the cost,
but the Government will not get so much for the land probably.
However that question can be left over till the question of
a new cable reserve is settled.
