site for the Market, and the necessity for pushing on the build- ing of a New Market and of a New Harbour Office as soon as pos- sible, the Acting Harbour Master withdrew his objection to the site opposite the East end of inglok Street and the Committeo unanimously decided to recommend the Government to carry out in its entirety Schere No. 3 in the Director of Public Work's Memorandur above referred to,- a scheme which, in addition to providing excellent sites for the buildings referred to, renders possible a very great sanitary inprovement by the prolongation of Jervois Street into Bonham Strand Test.
