The grant to the
French Convent School
The enormous increase in rents all over
the Colony involves' such a strain on the resources of grant-in-aid Schools that unless they receive extra as- (sistance many of them must close. A sum of $8,100 has been inserted to provide for such extra assistance.
Provision has also been made for build- ing granta on the basis of an annual expenditure of $1000 for such grants. |
