The Secretary of State has also been informed by the Lamden
Post Office.
14. With regard to the suggestion that al
lowances for extra hours should not be continued but the ane
merged in the salaries, I would remark that extra allevances
for overtime and Sunday duty is universally recognised and
paid for apart from salary.
