The Committee evidently intended to increase the salar -16# of the sisters by $120 per annum. The new rate should
· be fixed at $700 rising to $1020 by $60 yearly.
The new rate of pay at which wardmasters have recently been engaged in Bgland ($866 to $1046 by $60 yearly)
· should be adopted for all Wardmasters in the Medical De- partment including the assistant Wardmaster at the luna- / tic AsyluIR.
The Wardmasters would then, as recommended by the Act.. ing #0»M«0.4-be all-interchangeable which would render
the work of each less manotonous.
