Request for Estimate on cost of printing and binding New
Edition of the Laws of the Colony.

I shall be glad if you will sub-
mit to me, for the information of His Excellency the Govern- or, an estimate of the cost of the following services.
1.
Printing a new edition of the Laws of the Colony, con- sisting of 200 copies of two Royal octavo volumes, each of, say, 850 pp., and one Royal octavo volume, of, say, 400 pp.,con- taining Chronological Table and Index, according to pattern sent herewith. The text of the two volumes to be in small pica, marginal notes in brevier, and schedules to Ordinances in long primer. The third volume to be in long primer. All type used to be of new founts. Paper to be white and of stout and good quality.
