(2) That the plot of land situ-
ated on the Hill Spur below the Bowen Road lios-
pital Site, and shown on the tracing "hich ac-
companied Major-General Black's letter No.
259/33 of the 22nd.of April, 1898, be transfer-
in cachang forth War Departmeat red to the War Department, Land at Kowloon Dock
Battery and the small portion of land adjoin-
ing the same in Military Reservation, both of
which areas are shown on the tracing attached
to Mr.Gillies' letter of the 14th.of February
1899. (in C.S.0. 445 ) to be transferred by the
1889 Colonial Government to the HongKong and Wham-
poa Dock Company on the conditions set out in
. the enclosure to Major-General Gascoigne's let-
ter No.1811/5 of the 31th.of March, 1900, and
1811/5
on the understanding that the facilities men-
tioned in Major-General Gascoigne's letter No. 1811/5
of the 17th. of April, 1900, are afforded
the Dock Company for making immediate use of a
portion of the land.
(5) An exchange by which the Co-
lonial Government would transfer to the War
Department certain land on the saddle between
Victoria Peak and High West: and on a spur run-
ning Northwards from that saddle, for the pur-
poses of Married Quarters and Barracks, in re-
