7. The arrangement set out above

seems the best that can be made to provide these mar-
ried quarters which are undoubtedly desirable,
I have to ask your sanction to resume the property,
and I propose to provide in the estimates for Public Works Extraordinary for 1901 a. sum of $40,000 for
this purpose.
