Sir,
I have the honour to bring to your notice
sure the enclosed copy of a letter from the Colonial Treasurer
just, $1900.
stating that the subsidiary coins recently supplied by the
Birmingham Mint are lighter than those hitherto supplied by
the Royal Mint.
The consignment in question is that
which formed the subject of the Crown Agents' letter of the
30th.June last having reference to Requisition No.503 for
coin..
