Sir,
in continuation of Sir Henry Blake's
despaton No. 123 of the 20 to. Marco, 1900, and wito reference to
your telegram of the 19 ta. of May, 1. aave the aonour to iaforn you
that subject to your approval i have made the following minor ag-
polatnents to the Land Court under the Land Court (Jew Territories)
Ordinance:-
Ar. Cheung-toi, 3rd. Clerk in the Magistracy
and Clerk to the Coroner, to be 1st. Clerk and laterpreter and
Translator on a salary of $125 a 10 to wita a travelling allowance
of $10 a monta,it being understood that if he gives satisfaction als
salary in 1901 will be increased to 1150 a moata.
Mr. Caeung-Tsoi is an efficient laterpreter
and Translator and his duties will be responsible and arduous.
4. Mr. Tsang Hol-tong, Punti and dakka later-
preter la the Jagistracy, to ce dakka laterpreter at a salary of
470 a 300 to wito a travelling allowance of $1) a sota, To succeed
Ar. (heung-1801 at the Macistrac I nave appointed 1r. Lo Ksan-Yi,
who for two years has been acting as Assistant lnterpreter in the
Supreme Court,
rt, to be amd. Clerk and interpreter and Clerk to the
Coroner on a salary of $340 per annua in the former and of $283 per
eanua in the latter capacity.
