I may add that a portion of the Rates-notice writing work has to be done at hoxe during every quarter, my office hours being fully employed.
These facts, as well as the continually advancing rate of cost of living, will, I hope, receive your kind con- sidoration, and I therefore pray that you will kindly move His Excellency The Officer Administering the Government to grant me an increase to my present salary.
