sir,
I have the honour to report that I have found it necessary to remove ir.A.Barron from the post of Superintendent of the Registration Branch of the Port Office, owing to number of complaints regarding his conduct which have been made and fully substantiated by the Porta ster General.

Mr.Barron was reported by the Postmaster General for the first time on the 22nd. of September,1899, the charges against him being based upon neglect of duty,
isobe ience and insubordination.
3. The Charger were denied by Mr. Barron, and
I found it necessary to proceed in accordance with Chapter
IV section II, of the Colonial Office Regulations,
4. The case was tried by Executive Council,
in the presence of the Postmaster General and Mr. Barron, on the 19th. of October, and it was resolved that Mr.Berron be severely reprimanded for neglect of duty cre debarred from any increase of salary until the Head of his Department should be able to report favourably of his conturt. The
une-imous opinion of the Council was that the charges were proved, but that their nature was not sufficiently
