Sir,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt,
of your despatch No.27 of the 2nd.ultimo, enclosing a
copy of corresponderice relative to a proposed exchange
of land at Mount Cochrane and to forward herewith the
enclosed copy of a Report on the proposal by the Director
of Public Works together with a detailed plan, which will
fully explain the nature of the advantages which it is
expected will accrue to the Colony from the proposed
Enclosure.
