I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch, No 39 of the 2nd ultimo, and to inform you that I must decline to reopen the question of the Salary of the Attorney-General, & refer your despatch to my despatch, No 22 of the 29th January last.
I see no sufficient reason to re-consider the decision contained in that despatch.
