Two Second Class Inspectors of Nuisances whose duties will comprise the inspection of drains and the supervision of the remedying of drainage defects, under the orders of the Sanitary Board and its officers.

$760 per yearly; rising to $1104 by $48.

Rent-allowance of $4 and out of pocket-Conveyance expenses. By Annual vote.

Exchange Compensation, which at present adds about 25% to the salary only of the office.

Nature, number, and amount of securities required, and mode of giving them.

Whether any, and if any, what provision is made from public funds for the passage from this country, or elsewhere, of the persons sent out to fill the office.

The office can be filled locally. It has been found that Men cannot be obtained from England.

This salary is secured By Section 9 of Ordinance 244 of 1887. The Governor may appoint such officers and the particulars of the security required, with references to the sections in which such provision is made.
