On the point with regard to the weights a memorandum pension I agree with Sir W Hamilton. I think that when officer's pension is reduced for misconduct the whole pension should be dealt with that pensions for different duties during the service should be treated as one payable. The total pension should be taken & a reduction made on it as a whole. I would not in any way allude to matters submitted as above rather than Macnaghten purposes.
