With ref: to your Despatch No 69 of the 22nd March last, I have the honour to inform you that I have selected Mr Job Peak for appointment as Hospital Warder in the Gaol Hospital at Hongkong.
Mr Peak has served over ... years in the R.A.M.C. Staff Corps, & since his discharge from the army he has been employed as male nurse by various institutions.
I regret the delay in filling the appointment.
