doubt in consequence upon chatting with the Government of Hong Kong that they recommended an allowance for two (2) years professional qualifications.
4. At the time of my appointment, there were regulations regulating both the appointment and retirement of Officers in the Hong Kong service, under which I continued my services in the hope of eventually securing the advantages which such rules and regulations are supposed to provide.
5. I beg humbly and respectfully to state, as I have been advised, that I have a claim to an addition to my pension in respect of my professional qualifications.
418 officers retired from Government Employment and were granted an addition of years in respect of professional qualifications.
