I would now beg to submit copies of recent correspondence between the Government of Hong Kong and myself, the subject of my service, and nature of duties to, in order that the same may be taken into consideration when the time arrives for computing pension, and I would now specially refer to the recommendations contained in such correspondence, by His Excellency the Governor, that an allowance of 2 years for "professional qualifications" be added to my service when computing for pensions, and referring to information now received as provisional pension, it appears that such recommendation has not been allowed.
