themselves certain mining areas which in the aggregate shall not exceed five thousand acres which the Corporation shall have the right to hold and work free of royalty or any payment other than ordinary taxation, and all rights over the remainder of the territory shall revert to the British Government as at present. The Corporation will agree to such regulations regarding surface rights in their selected mining areas as may be arranged with the Government, and will also furnish to the Government a report by a competent person on the mineral resources of the territory prospected when the examination is completed.
