With reference to your communication of February 18th relative to the vacant post of Assistant Apothecary in the Government Civil Hospital, Hong Kong,
I am directed by the Council of this Society to inform you that he has interviewed several gentlemen with a view to suggesting suitable candidates for your consideration.
He is not, however, prepared to submit the names of any of the gentlemen he has seen for the appointment.
