that the Lands Resumption Ordinance, 23 of 1889, is in force in the New Territory. There will be no difficulty in acquiring land required for military purposes; and say that any such land would be handed over according to the recommendations of the recent inter-Departmental Committee on the Provision of Sites at Hang Hau for Military purposes. (See 8590/99.)
