I would wish to add that I laid before the Marquis Salisbury your letter of the 31st ultimo, forwarding the paraphrase of a telegram from the Governor of Hongkong with regard to reports which had reached him as to possible further disturbances in the Kowloon district, and the danger to the Bark Mission Station at Li-Long.
