I am directed by the Marquess of Salisbury to inform you that His Excellency the German Ambassador at this Court has asked whether it will be possible to obtain for his Government copies of
1. the following Ordinances of Hong Kong from 1844 to the present time together with a copy of the Report from the Hong Kong Land Commission under Secretary of State for the Colonies.
2. those issued during the years 1892 to 1894 inclusive.
