I laid before the Marquess Salisbury your letter of the 12th instant enclosing paraphrases of two further telegrams from the Governor of Hongkong respecting the proposed occupation of Kowloon and Shan Chun, and I am to state that His Lordship concurs in the telegram in the terms in which it was drafted.
